Welcome to the Cozy Cowlitz Cabin where you can bring your friends, family, and pet dogs to come relax and/or explore the outdoors.

The cabin is located in Packwood, Washington, which is such a great homebase for your next adventure exploring nearby Cowlitz River, Mt. Rainer, The Gifford Pinchot Forest, or skiing at White Pass Ski Resort, and of course Packwood, the town itself.

There are an abundance of seasonal activities nearby, hiking, fishing, mushroom foraging, mountain biking, skiing, and the biannual Packwood Flea Market (Labor & Memorial Day).

If you feel like taking it easy at the cabin, we have Wifi, Smart TV's, and games, for a day inside or you can take about a 7 minutes drive to Packwood City Center and visit the local breweries, restaurants, and little shops.

The Space

This little cabin features one bedroom with a queen bed and a sleeping loft with 2 queen beds. Each room has a Smart TV. We provide all the bed linens, pillows, and blankets.

The loft has a small desk & computer chair for a workstation.

The family room and kitchen make one great room for everyone to enjoy hanging out together playing games or watching TV around the woodburning fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with the basics, from spices, to baking sheets/dishes, plates & bowls, and appliances that make it feel like home.

There is one full bathroom with a bathtub/shower and one powder bathroom with a toilet and sink. We provide towels, shampoo, and body soap.

The outdoor space is fully fenced, has a Weber charcoal and gas barbecue grills, picnic table, bistro table, firepit with adirondack chairs. We do not provide firewood or charcoal. You should be able to buy firewood and charcoal at the local grocery store or gas station in town.

*If you happen to utilize any firewood we have on the property, we ask you to replace the wood you use.

*Please note during burn bans, guests are not permitted to use the firepit or charcoal bbq. We will notify you should a burn ban is in effect for the area.

You will have access to the entire cabin & property during your stay except for the locked storage closet and outdoor shed.

Onsite Parking to the right & left of the cabin.

We send out all the check-in details & door codes the day before your arrival.

Our contact number will be indicated on the check-in details and at the cabin should you need to reach out during your stay.

We also have a local caretaker if you need further assistance other than a phone call or text to resolve any issues that arise during our stay.

Pets we accept are dogs only.

We have a maximum of 3 pets per stay. (Fees Apply)

Our bathrooms & sinks are on a septic system, so please note the onsite bathroom/sink signs of what you can and cannot dispose of in the toilet & sinks.

There is no smoking or vaping inside the cabin.

Occasionally, Packwood will experience power outages due to weather. We have flashlights plugged into a few electrical sockets throughout the cabin for safety. We do not have a generator onsite. If you need to access Wi Fi or cellphone coverage, we suggest you head to town and do so from the local businesses that provide Wifi to their guests.
